10 BEST GETTING READY AIRBNBS IN TORONTO
What if I told you that you can get better photos AND save money? Most hotel rooms in Toronto have less natural light than the average closet and it can be costly to host your entire bridal party in multiple rooms. One alternative that I’ve fallen in love with is Airbnb. Many listings have lots of space to move around freely and may even cost less than the grand hotels next door.
Here are my favourite listings right now (all images are from the online listings):
1— The Ossington House
Complete with a cozy fireplace, lots of original art, and blush accents- need I say more? This is the perfect girly getaway. One of my brides sent me this listing and I am so excited to photograph her and her bridesmaids in this space!
2— High Park Home
This spacious home can accommodate up to 14 guests which makes it perfect for large bridal parties. The vintage accents and bright spaces really sold me on this listing. Did I mention that there is a clawfoot soaking tub?
3— Monochromatic Penthouse
You will be won over by the floor to ceiling windows, minimalist decor, and stunning view of the CN tower in this 49th floor condo. With a large common space and cozy c-shaped couch, this unit is perfect for hosting. If you are obsessed with all things modern and minimalist, look no further!
4— Trendy Leslieville Home
The pops of sunshine yellow throughout the space will leave you feeling cheery as can be! My favourite part about this listing is the abundance of outdoor lounge furniture (hello, natural light!). You could make mimosas and head outside to enjoy your drinks and some fresh air before the festivities.
5— Industrial Loft
This space reminds me of a production studio because of the polished concrete floors, large windows, and high ceilings. The metal staircase to the loft and the abundance of black accents make this Airbnb feel particularly industrial and stylish. If I could go back in time, I would have booked this space for Jeremy and his groomsmen to get ready in.
6— Chic Century Home
I actually think that I love EVERYTHING about this home. It is serene, hip, and oh so well decorated. This gem is perfectly Instagramable from every angle.
7— Playful Victorian Home
My favourite part about this home is the breakfast bar. Little details like trendy light fixtures set this listing apart. Apparently it’s in a great location too- definitely a bonus!
8— Breathtaking Contemporary Home
You’ll feel like the star of an interior design TV series in this home. Seriously, it is that stunning! The kitchen, bathrooms, and common spaces are all equally photogenic. You’ll want to snuggle up by the double sided fireplace and never leave!
9— Warm Mid-Century Home
This house is what mid-century decor dreams are made of! There’s natural light in every room, white walls, and trendy furniture. This cozy home accommodates up to 4 guests.
10— Modern Mansion
This list would not be complete without an infinity pool, sauna, and theatre— luckily, this home has all three! Everywhere you look, there are enormous windows. There is lots to keep your bridal party busy and everyone can definitely sprawl out in this truly exceptional space!
